I am the Office Administrator for Dr. Rich and have been with him since the practice opened. I like having initial contact with our patients, whether on the phone or greeting them when they walk in. I also assist with financial arrangements and enjoy seeing how elated patients are when their new smiles are complete. At home, I am Mom to a 6 year old daughter and my husband and I enjoy time with her at the beach, biking or doing anything outdoors.
With over 30 years of experience, Karen loves developing relationships with patients as she helps them achieve optimal health. Having recently relocated to the Wilmington area, she quickly became a true asset to the team. When not in the office, Karen enjoys spending time with her son, Nick, and visiting her older son, Fran, in San Diego. She also enjoy walking, biking, working out and (of course!) relaxing on the beach.
As a Registered Dental Assistant for over 30 years, I've completed advanced training that has been a perfect fit in Dr. Rich's practice. He and the staff are so warm and welcoming - everyone is made to feel right at home. In addition to being a part of this talented team, I love the area and it's people. My husband and our two sons have found coastal living is wonderful.
A Virginia native, I have lived in Delaware and Texas and recently relocated to Wilmington from Raleigh. As a Dental Assistant for 27 years, I enjoy getting to know my patients and being involved with their dental care. Out of the office, I enjoy anything that has to do with water (boating, fishing, beach) and spending time with my two daughters, husband and Jack Russell terrier.
I'm originally from Washington State, grew up in Asheville, but have called Wilmington home for more than a decade. I received my Certification in Dental Assisting from Miller Motte College and am bilingual (Spanish). I have a cat (Lily) and enjoy gardening and outdoor activities.
