Riverside Dental Arts Team Participates In Alzheimer’s Walk

Although the morning of November 5th was chilly on Wrightsville Beach, smiles were warm as the Riverside Dental Arts team participated in “Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.”

Our team raised nearly $1,000 to help further research and awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease. Alzheimer’s Disease is the only top-10 cause of death in the U.S. that cannot be prevented, cured or slowed. At this time, there are more than 5 million Americans living with the disease.

The Riverside team was made up of Dr. Rich and wife Lisa, Dr. Duffy and wife Melissa (along with dog Tinkerbell), Meredith (Administrative Manager), Karen S. (Dental Assistant), Sharon (Dental Assistant), Karen T. (Hygienist) and Jane (an energetic patient!).

We joined 465 participants in this Walk and warmed quickly, knowing we were making a valuable contribution to those affected as well as the family members of Alzheimer’s sufferers. team-riverside

Thank you to the coordinators of this successful event! We were proud to be a part!
